CVHS CSF service events can be used toward service hours for the Service Learning project at CVHS, including the 100-hour medallion. However, as a club on campus, CSF is not authorized to submit members' service hours to the school. Therefore, if a student would like to receive service hours for CVHS, he/she must independently input their hours on the CVHS Service Learning project website, regardless of whether the event is offered by CSF or not.

CSF members must take the CSF Official Event Form to every CSF event they attend to ensure they receive credit. Students should receive signatures for the form from event organizers where they volunteer. They must then turn in their event forms on upcoming meeting dates to receive CSF event credit. However, a CSF advisor can provide a signature for a member’s event form as long as the member's class representative confirms that they took part in the event(s) they listed by signing in and out at said event(s). Be aware that most events will not have a sign in and sign out; therefore, it is always a better option to simply take an event form to every event.
